Message-ID: <8706151453.AA10212@brillig.umd.edu> Date: Thu, 4-Jun-87 18:51:35 EDT Article-I.D.: brillig.8706151453.AA10212 Posted: Thu Jun 4 18:51:35 1987 Date-Received: Wed, 17-Jun-87 01:20:25 EDT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Distribution: world Organization: The ARPA Internet Lines: 24 Approved: laser-lovers@brillig.umd.edu Has anyone had any luck including PostScript as generated by MacDraw into the middle of a ditroff document, using Transcript? I tried the following: (1) capture the Postscript with command-F on the Mac (2) prepend the LaserPrep file (as written by Brian Reid and stored on Sumex) to the Mac output. (3) use the ditroff sequence \!%PB .cf \!PE \!. as documented to insert the PostScript into the output stream. Unfortunately, the LaserWriter blinks for a while and then nothing comes out. What am I doing wrong? If I just send the PostScript file straight to the printer, without the surrounding ditroff, it works fine. Mike Caplinger mike@bellcore.com {decvax,ihnp4}!thumper!mike
