We are having lots of problems trying to send mail between us (on UUCP) and
a person on BITNET.

Our address is seismo!sundc!cos!grambo or grambo@cos.com.  The person that
we are trying to reach is hursl@uottawa.bitnet.

According to the UUCP maps, to reach hursl@uottawa.bitnet, we should use:
	sundc!seismo!harvard!talcott!uottawa.bitnet!hursl
(this is the address that smail uses when we give it hursl@uottawa.bitnet).
When we use this address, it either takes forever (4 days!) or never gets
there.

We have been unable to figure out what address he should use on his end to
reach us.

The only address that he has been able to use to get thru to us was:
	sundc!grambo%cos.com%psuvax1.css.gov%sun.com
This worked once and was the one that took 4 days.

According to the maps, psuvax1, talcott, and ucbvax are gateways to
.bitnet.

What are we doing wrong?  What should we be doing?  How should he
address his mail to get to us?
