I'm told my earlier posting was unclear.  Sorry. In part, it was:

]158, 4.77/8 MHz XT clone, with 30MB ST238 hard disk w/ Adaptec

I do not have my discs yet (I did say that), so I don't have Minix
running at all (would that I did).  What I'm interested in (after
getting it going from floppies, I guess) is getting it to work in
its own partition on the hard disk.  As I understand it, so far
Minix works with only some controller/hard disk configurations.
Does anyone know if it's working (or soon expected to be) for the
combination I'm using?
