Lines: 24 I have seen postings from fellow MINIX users regarding their attempt to use Turbo-C to compile MINIX on the MS-DOS side. Has anyone been successful in completely re-compiling the entire MINIX system with Turbo-C? What are the end results? Is MINIX quicker? Is it smaller? A follow-up summary of the process would also be nice to see, but for now I would just like to know some of the basic findings. I have had Turbo-C on back order for 3 months now with the idea of re-compiling MINIX. I would like to know if it is still worth my while to continue to pursue this effort.
