I ordered my copy of minix from PH on friday, and had it in my hands
on tuesday.   The trick is to pay an extra $6 or so and they send it out the 
next day via ups blue label or sometimes even federal express(!).
Also, there is an 800 number you can call  to place your order; they
accept credit cards  or will send you a bill with the order.  I
think the number is 800 223-1360, but I'm not sure (i can't read my own
handwriting).  By the way, I was able to get both the floppies and the
9 track tape this way.
