I was wondering if anyone had references on this sort of material? I am interested in dynamic task migration in loosely-coupled homogeneous-architecture distributed systems. Migration of running or swapped processes is my major interest, but papers on load-balancing and/or initial process scheduling using these techniques are also good. I am interested both in case studies and "Tanenbaum"-style literature surveys with lots of references at the end. I haven't had too much success ransacking the journals for this material, but then again, I am a novice at doing this sort of literature research. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mark A Johnson - Eastman Kodak Co. - Dept 646 - KEEPS - Rochester, NY 14650 The opinions expressed above are not necessarily those of Eastman Kodak Company and are entirely my responsibility.
