In responce to Kim Kempf's quick and helpful reply to my query about OS9 for the Atari ST, I called Microware to see about ordering a copy. Here's what I found out: Personal OS9 w/Basic09 $150 available June 25th When I asked about the 'C' compiler, the sales person mentioned that Microware had that as an option for $500 (yikes!). However, they also sold a package called Professional OS9 which came with 'C', make and lots of handy utilities for $600. I asked when I could order that for the ST, I was told that Microware was not sure they were going to offer it, but that they would put me on a mailing list to be told if and when it would be available. I'd really like to get OS9 with 'C'! Wouldn't you? If so call Microware and tell them you'd like to see Professional OS9 for the ST made available. The number I used was from the Winter issue of Pipelines and is: (515) 224-1929. Help bring a real OS to the ST! (If Microware is reading this: Your sales staff is really nice and well informed! Worth the phone call!) --Dwight Mckay, ECN Workstation Software Support [arpanet: mckay@ee.ecn.purdue.edu, usenet: ...ihnp4!pur-ee!mckay] [Compu-serve: 75776,1521, office: EE 348B, phone: (317) 494-3561] Date: 1 Jun 87 18:24:02 GMT ------------------------------ From: voder!wlbr!pete (Pete Lyall) Subject: CC3 OS9 Screen Clear Bug - Patch Keywords: OS9 COCO3 PATCH Organization: Eaton IMS, Westlake Village, CA There was recently a request for a patch to correct a failure to clear the last line on an 80 x 24 screen/window.
