A recent query asked how to do logical disks in VMS. Just a thought: this
sounds like the kind of thing virtual disks are good for. They make
contiguous files look like separate volumes and normal volume level
controls then work fine. A driver appeared on the fall '86 VAX SIG
tape from DECUS and some updates will be on the spring '87 tape, due
out shortly.
