Specifically, section 1.2.3.1 (page 1-5) says: 1.2.3.1 Multicast Announcements - A service node periodically sends a multicast] announcement that contains information about the node and any services it offers to terminal servers. Multicast announcements of a service node contains its name, group designations, service names, and service ratings. The multicast announcement may also include identification strings.... Using information received in these multicast announcements, each terminal server builds a directory of service node names and service names. Note that service nodes do not maintain such a directory.
