So far I know that 1 = 780, 782, 785 2 = 750 3 = 730 4 = 8600, 8650 7 = MicroVax I 8 = MicroVax II It is easy to find out what type your own machine is with the following line: WRITE SYS$OUTPUT F$GETSYI("CPU") Could someone who has any of the following machine types please type that one line on their system and tell me what CPU type you have and what the returned number is? The list is: 8200, 8250, 8300, 8350, 8500, 8530, 8700, 8800, Vaxstation 2000 I would guess that most will be either 5 or 6 and Vaxstation 2000 will be 8 but I would like to know for sure. I will post the complete list when I have it.
