  This note is to express my apologies to all those I offended with my
  rude remarks when I posted a WRONG procedure that would display current
  line number in EVE. Several people have pointed out that my procedure
  will display current line number in the window and not in the buffer.

  Please ignore my entire mail message - the procedure and the rude remarks
  I made in it. I sincerely thank all those who took time in pointing out
  my mistakes.
