Since we started shipping PC-NFS, several people have expressed concern about using PCs as IP nodes and have asked if there was any standard way of automating IP address assignment, either per-session or once-only at first connection. Now I know that there's nothing in the RFCs, but I seem to remember some talk at the December '85 PC/IP - MAC/IP Workshop at the Univ. of Maryland. Can anyone help jog my memory? -- "You want a disclaimer form? Next window, please..."
