fontedit uses capabilities only found on a Sys V system.  The one I quickly
noticed was the VMIN parameter in a tty ioctl.  We run Ultrix 1.2 (with 
some Sys V compatability features) and it doesn't work here.  Perhaps it
could be hacked for Berkley, but I haven't looked into it.
