Don't flame mindlessly agains GIGI's when you don't seem to understand them.
You can't seriously believe that the logic is written in basic, can you?  The
gigi buffer fills at 9600 baud when you send it a bunch of short lines in a
row.  You can set the flow control via setup.  If it bothers you that much
rebind ^s.
