There were about fifty people there, most with relevant questions, and some with answers. It is not clear that everyone was pleased with everything I and others told them, but I think some now have a better idea of what is going on. The twenty copies of the Rationale that I made beforehand disappeared quickly, as did the thirty I made afterward, and the forty copies of the draft standard. I do not know to what to attribute this new, higher level of interest on the part of USENIX attendees, but it was there. Comments (preferably technical) from attendees?
