My question is: (1) Does DPaint II have a design flaw in that it >did not anticipate large menus, or (2) is there something inherently wrong >with intuition? This is a Dpaint bug. (which is shared by other programs). If the programmer feeds Intuition a bad menu structure, Intuition attempts to display it with predictable results. Notepad, for instance, has code to set up the font menu for large numbers of fonts. (Unfortunately we recently discovered that it breaks at about 100 fonts, but that's a different problem) -- andy finkel {ihnp4|seismo|allegra}!cbmvax!andy Commodore/Amiga "An end is always a new beginning." - Captain Cloud Any expressed opinions are mine; but feel free to share.
