[Do I have to do this? I don't beleive in line eaters.] I have been pouring over data books trying to find an 8520. No banana. The closest thing I have found is the MC6820/MCS6520 in Osbornes book, An Introduction to Microcomputers. The pinout is different. The pins and functions look close. The 6520/6820 is a PIA (Peripheral Interface Adapter). I can only assume that the 8520 is also. If anyone has data sheets for the 8520, please send me a copy. I am trying to get enough information to begin experimenting with devices hooked to the parrallel port. I have a copy of the Amiga schematics called Schematics and Expansion Specifications. (I appreciate Commodore making them available!!) The specifications outline the functions of the pins of the parallel connector, but I would like more nitty gritty about what I can do with the input and output of that port. Please? P.S. The schematics for the Amiga are titled ZORRO in the Schematics and Expansion Specifications manual. Was that the original name?
