I haven't done a proper search through the manuals yet, but maybe this'll be faster. What ON EARTH is snapshot for. I naievely assumed that it would have something to do with storing the current arrangement of some set of WB items on disk. You know, if a disk is selected, store the sizes and positions of currently open drawers. If a window is selected, store the size, position, and position of Icons within, of that window. This would be neat. I could put icons in nice places in windows, and expect them to be there next time I opened the drawer. Since nothing like this happens... WHAT IS SNAPSHOT FOR. P.S. If the answer is obvious, and ANY amiga owner should know it, please reply by email - don't want to clog the net up with 100 identical 'it does X Y Z, you idiot!' replies.
