The suggested list for the A2000 is $1995. I suppose the dealer may have given you a price for a system including a monitor, or including the Bridgeboard (both $495 extra, suggested list). $The other thing that happened was that they $decided to include the bridge card in the list $price (what else are the slots good for?). The Bridgeboard is an OPTION. We are not quoting a suggested retail of $2495, we say $1995, and the Bridgeboard has a suggested retail of $499. While it is true that the PC slots are not worth a lot without the Bridgeboard, this does not apply to "slots" in general on the A2000. There are *5* Amiga slots, a CPU expansion slot, and a video slot, in addition to the 4 PC slots (one of which must be filled with the Bridgeboard). Also, these are SUGGESTED RETAILS from Commodore. What the dealers decide to charge is up to them. $Randy Spencer P.O. Box 4542 Berkeley CA 94704 (415)284-4740 Paul Higginbottom, Amiga Sales Support Manager.
