Go into workbench and, using the shift key, select both disk icons. *Then* you hold down both shift keys and both alt keys. With those held down, you can then press the F-keys. While you are holding all of these keys down, the workbench screen title will change to reveal a message (one for each f-key) which will disappear as soon as any keys are let up. Does anyone know how to do the Preferences 'secret message'? Something about the mouse buttons, a hidden gadget on the window border to the left of the time display, selecting "change printer," and scrolling through the printer listing... Anyone know? -- Bill Kelly {akgua, hplabs!hp-sdd, sdcsvax}!crash!pnet01!billk (Don't use pnet01!billk; try crash!pnet01!billk -- Thanks!) "When your IQ reaches 28D MTRpri
