DMCS does this to get extra memory. * determining the volumes available to the user. I have figured out a method, but I'm sure it would die under a protected mode version of AmigaDos. * moving an opened screen sideways. I use morerows, and all screens opened by other programs are jammed right at the left edge. Alternatively, having new screens opened *centered* on workbench instead of left-justified would help. Programs should look at the intuition prefs structure to figure out how big their screens should be. * Telling WorkBench that it's got a new icon to examine. Opening & closing the folder is a kludge. The icon should just pop up. -- -- Peter da Silva `-_-' ...!seismo!soma!uhnix1!sugar!peter (I said, NO PHOTOS!)
