Other implementations of (Much editting and cutting done above) I just thought that I'd put my two cents worth into this with regards to DSEE (or Dee-Cee as we call it). I'm working on a large software development project at the moment. The functionality that DSEE gives me, I find impressive. The system models used in DSEE are sufficiently powerful to let me do various strange things which 'make' couldn't handle. (Or at least I couldn't get make to handle :-)) While I do admit that for editting I prefer EMACS, I typically have three windows up, one with EMACS, one with DSEE and the final one with an AEGIS shell in it.
