Lines: 22 Well, now that the AEGIS/UNIX discusion has petered out into DM/EMACS and DSEE/MAKE, it seems to me that I guess I'm not really sure what AEGIS really is. Is it the OS ? Or is it the integrated envirnment (mouse bitmapped-display, keyboard with 'read' keys etc). If the answer is the latter, then comparing it with UN*X seems about as relevent as comparing the Apple Mac environment with UN*X. I enjoyed this discussion quite a bit, and although I use and very much enjoy the DM editor, I'm going to check out GNU EMACS. To R. Reed at zuess/tek. Could you explain your reply to my posting about mice pointers and multple windows ? I did't understand what you said, and cant find the article or your address now. E-Mail unless you feel it is of cosmic significance. Cheers, -- Richard Sexton INTERNET: richard@gryphon.CTS.COM UUCP: {akgua, hplabs!hp-sdd, sdcsvax, ihnp4, nosc}!crash!gryphon!richard
