I would like to reset the tablet and re-configure it at run-time, because Undergraduate engineering students don't like things like TCTL. If you send a Summagraphics bitpad the HEX 00 character to reset it, it sends a whole lot of garbage back. Then, it doesn't allow you to talk sense to it. I've tried time_$wait ing for the garbage to go away, and stream_$get_rec until status becomes zero to flush the input buffer. I've also tried closing the stream to the sio line and re-opening it, but this stuff won't go away. Does anyone know how to simply flush the input buffer an/or reset a data tablet without throwing it out a window? Thanks, Scott Ferguson ferguson@bknlvms.bitnet
