One of my problems with my current //+ has always been that languages
like Pascal, Fortran etc use their own operating systems and will not
allow use of the operating system available from basic. For instance use
of sound, graphics etc (some do offer a bit of this and a bit of that).
How is this on the new Gs are add-on languages a direct replacement for
basic or do they too use their own op. sys.

And something for a friend. A friend of mine got Multiscribe //e from
someone who got a PC. Unfortunately with no documentation my friend is
haveing a bit of a problem with a few commands if someone could send me
a summary of the commands that would be a great help.
