My only experience is with Applied Engineering Transwarp. I have three, two in enhanced ][e and one in an unenhanced ][e. Their operation has been faultless in all cases. They operate nicely from slot #3. The users only task is to set DIP switches so that devices that can't handle the 3.5 MHz (disk drive controllers, serial cards) see the standard 1 MHz rate. The Transwarp can also be disabled completely from the keyboard at boot. Instructions are adequate. Many mailorder houses sell Transwarp; prices vary. Improvement in operation of AppleWorks is immediately evident. Bruce P. Halpern halp@tcgould.tn.cornell.edu HALP@CRNLTHRY.BITNET
