I need help from a Prodos user out there. I have written a program that will read the prodos directory into strings (in basic of course) but cannot figure a way to write the strings back >AS< the directory entries. For instance: Say I want to sort the directory alphabetically but with PRODOS as the first entry and then all of the system files then the directories (or whatever) . The problem is in writing the directory back to disk. Send help to me (since I have not gotten on the mailing list as of today) Thanks. Jeff
