I lost a lot of semiconductor equipment in my home several years ago.  Stereos,
TV, Timer motor on washer, Ground Fault Interrupter.  I had insurance which 
would replace.  Those items which I tried to repair, never worked entirely
satisfactorily.  if economically possible replace.
