Does anybody out there have these drives working under UCSD or Prodos ?

I have all the "official software", but the UCSD (v1.1 alas) works ok,
but its formatter doesn't so I can't use the drives properly, whereas
the prodos bemoans the lack of the Rana controller (anybody got one?)
and throws in the towel straight away.

These drives were once fairly popular, please anybody who knows anything
about the damn things let me know.  There was that heartfelt enough ?
