You "once", (how long ago and from where?) downloaded STadel and you're warning people to "watch-out" because that version didn't have networking capability? Why??? STadel (Ver.3.x) has had networking capability for 4-5 months (if not longer). The cita-net works between IBM, Amiga, and ST versions of Citadel. I don't think that any of the CP/M Citadels are networking, but I honestly don't know for sure... (Usenet (UUCICO) mail-only capability is being worked on for STadel but not currently for IBM or Amiga versions, and will probably (knock on wood) be working in a few months.) Orc has done his job... Networking versions of STadel are running in several parts of the US and Canada. You should check in with the system where STadel is being developed and get a new version. The system is called Pell (don't ask me why..) and is at 612-377-9239. The only "problem", if one exists, is one everyone using share/free-ware should already be aware of. If you don't go to the source, there's a very good chance you might get an outdated copy. Flaming the hard-working author for problems he's already fixed is only likely to gain irritation and not much help... --- John Stanley (john@viper.UUCP) Software Consultant - DynaSoft Systems UUCP: ...{amdahl,ihnp4,rutgers}!{meccts,dayton}!viper!john
