Summary: Can we upgrade ?

Does anyone in Atari UK read this group ?
Does the Atari upgrade policy only cover the American market ? I wrote to Atari
Uk and they replied saying that they didnt have such an upgrade scheme. So....
can foreign (relative to the US) users upgrade by sending our machines to
America ? (It seems ludicrous, but who am I to argue with corporate policy?)
