This bit of misinformation needs to be corrected. The particular complaint above about the Sun interface requiring the mouse to be over a window in order to type in that window is unfounded. This is a configuration option under SunTools - the other option is called "click-to-type" [click anywhere over a window to activate it] and it works quite nicely. There are problems with Sun's user interface design, just as there are with the Mac, the Amiga, and even the ST. However, it is very usable and offers a good compromise of "mousy" stuff [for the button-presser types], and keyboard-level control of the desktop [for the rodent-haters].
