[] I am disappointed to hear that the Mega-ST will not be available in the 1-Megabyte version. Although I would love to have 2, 4 or even 64 Megs, I would rather wait till the new 1 Megabit DRAM chips came down in price to about the same (per byte) as the 256Kbit chips. That will only take 6 months or so. The Mega-ST is (supposed to be) easily upgradable, so why force us to buy the fruit before its season? (If somebody needs the RAM _NOW_ they _can_ buy the bigger Megas. I just want the choice.) The rumors have it that Atari don't want to hurt sales of the 1040. I'd say: stop making it, now! Get the Megas out! You'll sell 1-Meg Megas just as well (or better) and make the same money. (If they already have 2^64 1040's in the warehouses then, well, it's a terrible mistake.) - Mosy nite oit
