    I recently purchased a Scribecard 20 and installed it in my 6300 following
the directions that came with it. The computer boots from the card just fine and I am pleased with the performance; there is just one little problem, the 6300
doesn't seem to know the card is installed. When the dip switches are set to 
internal control I get the message "Optional ROM at C800:0000" , "Fixed
disk not present". With the dips set to external control I just get the ROM
address and nothing about a fixed disk.
    A friend suggest that as the machine boots ok "don't fix what ain't broke",
but I  would like to get the correct "Fixed disk : 1 present" info from the diagnostics routine. 
    Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanx in advance.
