Recently, I announced that I would mail a workable terminfo curses
(ported from Pavel Curtis' implementation) to those interested.  Well,
I'm still doing that, but now it is available via anonymous ftp
from ucbvax, in pub/pcurses.arc.  You will need the pkxarc3.5 program
that was recently posted to comp.sys.ibm.pc in order to unarchive it.
