Files start with a 256 byte Header, which Xenocopy II from Xenosoft, 1454 6th Street, Berkeley CA 94710, 415-525-3113, is supposed to handle some 250 disk formats - single/double sided, various numbers of sectors, etc. I've never used it, but I've seen it recommended by an author whose opinions I trust. I don't know if it supports the Adam format, but it should cost only a phone call to find out. I can't help with Pascal, because I'm not a Pascal user (all my Unix machines speak C - therefore my PC6300 speaks C). But I understand that Pascal does offer a DOS interface that can do disk manipulation. If you write a good program for reading 'maverick' disks, how about posting it?
