Austin, Tx Lines: 22 Keywords: port SCSI I am interested in getting information about any high-speed interfaces between the IBM-PC and an external "box": 1) Can SCSI interface boards be used for other purposes than specifically to talk to a hard disk? 2) How fast can a Parallel (Printer) port transfer data? 3) Are there any other standard interface protocals available that one can buy a board to plug into the PC to communicate with an external "box"? Thanks in advance. -- ============================================================================= Motorola Semiconductors Tom Spohrer Austin, Texas {seismo,gatech,ihnp4}!ut-sally!oakhill!toms
