As far as the PC is concerned, I know that IBM makes a 220V power supply. Questions: 1) Can the 110V supply be run at 50 Hz (i.e., on transformer output)? 2) Can the 110V power supply be converted (by moving a jumper, etc.)) to 220V? The monitor will apparently tolerate 50 Hz (according to the label on the back) so I suppose a small transformer will be all right. 3) Anybody know anything about modems in this regard? -- Benjamin Svetitsky bqs@mitlns.bitnet
