Can anyone recommend a TTL parallel interface card for the PC/XT/AT.
I need to read some switches and control lights and motors.

Also, has anyone done this kind of application on a PC? What language
did you use? I'm thinking of MS Quick Basic. 

After the application is tested, I need to migrate it into a 
standalone microprocessor chip (8088?) with associated EPROM and other chips.
