Lines: 20 Keywords: solution, unplug cable My thanks to those who responded to my question about an 1101 Diagnostics Error, on my P.C. especially: brian@chemo, ghynes@garfield, ralf@b.gp.cs.cmu.edu and smith@ui3. The answer was to unplug the modem cable from the RS-232 port and then run diagnostics. Everything checks out fine after this. This also explains why it is was not caught before, because I usually only do diagnostics after moving the computer, and the modem is disconnected during the move. Thanks again to those who replied. ..lar ----- Larry Esmonde, Director of SWORD (Students Working On R & D) Computer Science Dept.
