Ok, thanks to all those who responded about a nroff/troff converter to TeX.
(we got a copy of the Kamal converter -- thanks ken)

Now for the next step -- We have preliminary version 0.9 of TeXtures for
the Mac (on a 512e) and we would like to know if will work on a Mac II
(which we hope to get soon).  We also have a problem that TeXtures tries to
load too many fonts for our available memory is there anyway around this?
(we are also waiting for our memory upgrade -- hopefully the Mac II will show
up first).
