There's some suggestion that Apple's sync signal should be piped to the NEC's sync line, as in: CABLE NEC DE9 Description Apple video card ("DB"-15) 1 Red 2 Red 2 Green 5 Green 3 Blue 9 Blue 4 Composite Sync 3 CSync 5 V. Sync N/C or 1 Ground 6,7,8,9 Ground 1 Ground but I haven't tried this personally.
