I think that the discussion about diskettes SS vs. DS is taking on the 
proportions of beating a dead horse.  Basically, you can do what you like
with your disks - or anything for that matter.  But one needs to take
responsibility for one's actions and suffer the consequences.  And one needs
to take reasonable precautions.  That's all I have to say.  For now.  At Last!
