My brand new SE beeps randomly several times a minute while
the mouse is sitting idle on the desktop.   This vaguely reminds
me of a reported problem with random mouse clicks from several
weeks back.

Is there a connection with whatever that random click problem
turned out to be?

What's wrong with my mac?
