A friend of mine was telling me that there is a feature on CompuServe that
allows users to download graphic faces and actually "see" who they are
talking to as they chat. He says that this was developed by the Macintosh
users. He's currently writing a terminal program for his IBM PC that will
emulate this mode, and it's all done except for one major problem. He can
download the picture files from CompuServe, but he doesn't understand the
format these files are in. He's tried basic decoding, but apparently all
the files are in a very illogical arrangement.

I was hoping some of you here would know the format (or where to find it)
of these files. It'd be a shame if he got this far on the terminal prog
only to be stopped by this. Any help is appreciated.
