In the midst of a regular session, it will activate the internal Mac drive. This subsequently slows down the interaction between user and remote host, and can cause all sorts of delays. Even when "DONT-RECORD-LINES-TO-DISK" is set, the disk continues to be activated every so often. Does anyone have a good work-around? Stuart
