I talked to Ric last week, and he said Macintouch was out of money, but to
wait for an upcoming announcement -- they have something going which looks
to have some decent funding.  From indications, it won't be Macintouch, but
he's been talking to some of his stable of ex-writers about doing material
for this new thing, whatever it is.

Basically, Macintouch ran into the typical problem of a small newsletter --
it didn't keep its budget in line, and it died of its own success (we lose a
little on each copy, but we'll make up for it in volume!). o
