I have pulled the SIMMs out of my Plus and put them into my II. They were clearly marked -12 on the chips themselves (i.e. 120ns) although the back of the SIMM said -15. I believe the chips. In contrast, the SIMMs in my Mac SE are marked -15, so I left them, although I did pull out the upper floppy drive, and put it into the II. Summary: Look at the chips in your Plus or SE. If they say -12 on them, they are probably OK to use in your II. If they say -15, they are probably not.
