Lines: 15 Has anyone called the toll free number Apple has set up to point people to the nearest Mac II dealers? (800-538-9696 x300). When I tried this morning, I gave a zip code for Westchester County, New York, and was given the name of a dealer in Palm Springs, California. Then I tried a zip code in a bordering county, (Fairfield County, Connecticut), and was given the name of a dealer in Watertown, Pennsylvania. When I explained to the person that New York to California seemed a bit far to travel to see a Mac, she said "I don't live in that area, so I don't know how close that is" [!]. Since Apple has used strong-arm tactics against mail order sales in the past, I assume that there is a mistake. John Martin Philips Labs philabs!jcm
