Lines: 32 Long ago, and far away... At any rate back when the 128K ROMS, and the Mac Plus came out, a net person posted a semi-flame about the fact that the 128 K ROMS ate the first keyboard character on boot-up if the auxiliary keypad was installed, and also, if that first key press was on the auxiliary pad, infinite repeating garbage was typed. I replied with a 'no way jose'. He replied with 'LARGE CAPITALIZED yes it happens!!!!' I replied with a 'no way jose'. Sunday, I added a Supermac Dataport and XP20 to my 512Ke, auxiliary, keypad. Guess what. First key on the keyboard after boot disappears. If it's on the auxiliary keypad, autorepeat garbage. Oh well, I love my Dataframe. I can live without my keypad. Further comments, anyone? Apple? My apologies to the original poster. -- + Jim Budler Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (408) 749-5806 + + Compuserve: 72415,1200; Delphi: JIMBUDLER; Usenet: jimb@amdcad.AMD.COM +
